Bobtail
Several companies make "Bobtail" guns or kits to modify an existing 1911 to the Bobtail configuration. These AlumaGRIPS are special made to fit these guns. The bottom area of the grips have the back removed which makes concealment and carry more convenient and less visible.
These grips are special order and may require an additional 3 - 4 weeks for delivery. Bobtail grips are available in full thickness or Thinline. They are also available with the 1 inch circle or 1 X 1.5 inch oval in the center of checkered grips - great for laser etching images such as badges, our cobra 1, your own image or monogram.
Price starts at $45.00 for smooth grips. Tactical Checkering is available by Special Order. Add any of the checkering styles for $7.00 and/or a monogram for $7.00.
We can laser etch any of our standard images or many of YOUR images on the smooth style, circle or oval. We can also laser etch large text on the checkered area of the grips. Send us e-mail if you want an option that is not shown in the checkout form.
